Our last two weeks in the USA were intensive! First we drove through Death Valley (40 ºC in October!) with its super peculiar landscapes, and I worked on a site-specific performance. Then we went to Grand Canyon: the North Rim with a beautiful path to Bright Angel's Point, with a stop at Navajo Bridge to see Colorado River, and Lower Antelope Canyon - WOW! After this we went to Phoenix, where I taught and played together with musicians (not filmed here - is coming up!) and then we drove to Organ Pipe National Monument. This national park is a desert with pipe-like cactuses, which make the wind sound somewhat metallic. Sleeping in the middle of this is quite an extraordinary experience! And then... to the border with Mexico!!
